Hot Foil Stamping is a traditional artisan process that utilizes metallic dies, heat, and pressure to permanently bond premium foil to the paper’s surface. Unlike flat printing, foil stamping is fundamentally a physical process. We offer two distinct tactile dimensions to elevate your brand identity on our luxury uncoated specialty
Traditional Hot Foil Stamping (Recessed Effect): The heated metal die presses the foil directly into the heavy-weight paper. This creates a beautiful, recessed (indented) tactile effect where the metallic finish sits elegantly below the paper’s raw surface.
Foil Embossing (Raised Effect): A classical sculptural technique. This process uses a dual-die system (male and female) to push the paper fibers upwards from the reverse side. The result is a striking, 3D raised metallic finish on the front. (Note: Because the paper is physically reshaped, Foil Embossing will naturally leave a corresponding recessed impression on the reverse side of the card).
We offer an extensive, industry-leading Foil Color Library. Beyond classic Matte and Bright Gold, our collection encompasses over 20 bespoke finishes, including Rose Gold, Holographic Silver, deep Black Foil, and vibrant metallic accents like Cyan Blue and Aqua Gold.
Technical Insight for Designers: > All artwork must be submitted in 100% vector format with a minimum line thickness of 0.25pt. If selecting Foil Embossing, please carefully plan your reverse-side design, ensuring that the inevitable debossed footprint does not interfere with critical text or contact information on the back.
