Custom Print Order Support

Shipping & After-Sales

ZIVFY ships custom printed products internationally using express courier or freight options confirmed by order size, destination, weight, urgency and budget. This page explains how shipping costs, customs duties, damaged packages and production-related issues are reviewed for made-to-order print projects.

Shipping Options

Shipping method is confirmed by order details.

Custom printed products vary widely in size, weight, material and packing method. The most suitable shipping option is confirmed after the order specification and delivery destination are reviewed.

01

Express courier for lighter shipments

For samples, smaller packages and lightweight production orders, ZIVFY may arrange delivery through DHL, UPS, FedEx or similar international express courier services where available.

02

Freight options for heavier goods

For heavier cartons, larger quantities or cost-sensitive bulk orders, air freight, economy air cargo or other freight solutions may be discussed before shipment is arranged.

03

Final freight cost before dispatch

Shipping costs are usually confirmed separately or added to the final invoice after package size, weight, destination, shipping route and delivery requirements are checked.

Cost, Duties & Taxes

Free shipping means shipping cost and applicable taxes/duties are included.

When a product page or written quote says free shipping, the quoted offer includes the confirmed shipping cost and applicable taxes/duties for the agreed destination unless the quote states an exception.

If free shipping is not shown, shipping cost and any destination taxes/duties will be confirmed separately before payment.

What ZIVFY handles

ZIVFY prepares reasonable shipping information and commercial documentation needed from our side for the shipment. If a cost or tax responsibility belongs to our side of the order, ZIVFY will handle it accordingly.

  • Order packing and shipment preparation.
  • Commercial invoice or basic shipment documentation where required.
  • Courier or freight coordination based on the confirmed shipping option.
  • Export-side matters that are applicable to ZIVFY’s side of the shipment.

What the buyer handles

If free shipping is not shown on the product page or written quote, destination import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, brokerage fees and local destination charges are confirmed separately or remain the buyer's or receiver's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing before payment.

  • Destination-country import duties, VAT, GST or similar taxes.
  • Customs clearance requests from the destination country.
  • Local brokerage, handling, storage or re-delivery charges caused by destination requirements.
  • Providing accurate recipient name, company, phone, email and delivery address.
Important: ZIVFY does not declare false product values, mark commercial orders as gifts, or provide misleading customs information. Any special tax or customs requirement should be discussed before payment and shipment.

Order Flow

Production time and shipping time are not the same.

Shipping estimates begin after production is completed and the package is handed to the courier or freight provider. Customs inspection, courier routing, weather, peak season and local delivery conditions may affect the final delivery date.

Step 01

Confirm product details

Material, quantity, size, finish, packing and delivery destination are reviewed before final shipping advice.

Step 02

Choose shipping route

Express courier or freight options are discussed according to weight, urgency and budget.

Step 03

Approve and produce

Production begins after payment or deposit and required order approvals are completed.

Step 04

Pack and dispatch

Goods are packed for shipment and handed to the confirmed courier or freight provider.

Step 05

Track delivery

Tracking information is provided when available. Local customs or delivery teams may contact the receiver if needed.

Damaged Package Review

Outer carton damage alone is not always a product issue.

International packages can show marks, dents or handling wear during transport. If the printed products inside are intact and usable, external carton damage alone is generally not treated as a production after-sales issue.

If the outer package is damaged

Please inspect the products inside before discarding any packaging. If the products are not damaged, the shipment is generally considered delivered in usable condition.

  • Check the printed products, inner packing and quantity.
  • Keep the outer carton and inner packing until the inspection is complete.
  • Contact ZIVFY if the products inside are damaged or missing.

If the products are damaged inside

Contact ZIVFY as soon as possible after delivery. Photos and delivery evidence are needed because courier claim windows and review requirements can be limited.

  • Photos of the outer carton and shipping label.
  • Photos of inner packing and damaged products.
  • Tracking number, delivery date and number of affected pieces.
  • Clear description of the problem before the products are used or distributed.

After-Sales Responsibility

Production issues are reviewed against the confirmed order.

ZIVFY reviews after-sales requests according to the confirmed specification, approved artwork, written communication, proof record, production record and received product evidence.

Issues ZIVFY will review and support

If a confirmed production error is caused by ZIVFY and the delivered goods do not match the approved order specification, ZIVFY will review the case and discuss a reasonable solution. Depending on the issue, this may include correction, remake, partial remake, replacement or another agreed resolution.

  • Wrong material, size, quantity or finish compared with the confirmed order.
  • Production error that is clearly inconsistent with approved artwork or written specification.
  • Shortage or damage that can be verified with delivery and packing evidence.
  • Other confirmed ZIVFY-side production mistakes reviewed case by case.

Issues generally not treated as ZIVFY responsibility

Some problems are caused by approved files, destination-country requirements, courier conditions, customer-side information or normal production tolerance. These are generally not treated as ZIVFY production responsibility.

  • Typos, layout errors or design problems already approved by the buyer.
  • Low-resolution files, missing fonts, incorrect colors or file problems provided by the buyer and approved for production.
  • Normal color variation, material batch variation or finish tolerance within custom printing standards.
  • Import duties, taxes, customs delay, customs inspection or destination clearance requirements.
  • Incorrect delivery address, unavailable receiver, missed delivery, refused package or unpaid local charges.
  • Outer carton damage when the printed products inside are intact and usable.
  • Damage caused after delivery by storage, handling, moisture, heat, folding, pressure or later use.
Custom-made products: ZIVFY products are made to order. Casual returns, buyer’s remorse returns or returns because a confirmed specification is no longer needed are generally not available for custom printed goods.

Cancellation & Changes

Order changes become limited after setup or production begins.

Custom printing requires material preparation, artwork setup, plate or mold preparation, proofing, finishing setup and production scheduling. Once these steps begin, cancellation or major specification changes may not be possible without cost.

Before payment or deposit

Initial quote review is free. Buyers can discuss product requirements, materials, quantity, reference images and delivery expectations before accepting a quote.

After payment, setup or production

If artwork setup, file repair, proof preparation, material purchase, plate preparation or production work has already started, cancellation, refund or specification changes may be limited and reviewed case by case.

FAQ

Shipping and after-sales questions.

These answers apply to custom printed products and made-to-order projects. Specific order terms may be confirmed separately during quotation.

Do you use DHL or UPS?
Yes. For lighter packages, samples and smaller production orders, ZIVFY may use DHL, UPS, FedEx or similar express courier services where available. The final courier depends on destination, package size, weight, timing and service availability.
How do you ship heavy or bulk orders?
Heavy or bulk orders may be shipped by air freight, economy air cargo, freight forwarder or another cost-effective shipping solution. The option is discussed during quotation or before dispatch based on weight, volume, delivery urgency and budget.
Who pays the shipping cost?
Shipping cost is generally paid by the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing. Freight may be quoted separately or added to the final invoice after the package size, weight, destination and shipping method are confirmed.
Who pays import duties, VAT, GST or destination taxes?
Unless otherwise agreed in writing before payment, destination import duties, VAT, GST, brokerage fees, customs clearance fees and other local destination charges are the responsibility of the buyer or receiver. ZIVFY handles applicable matters on our side of the shipment.
Can ZIVFY pay the buyer’s destination tax or duty?
Destination duty-paid arrangements are not the default for custom print orders. If a buyer requires a special shipping or tax arrangement, it must be discussed and confirmed before payment and shipment.
Can you declare a lower value or mark the shipment as a gift?
No. ZIVFY does not provide false customs declarations, false values or misleading shipment descriptions. Commercial orders must be declared with reasonable and accurate shipment information.
What if the package box is damaged but the products are fine?
Outer carton damage alone is generally not treated as a production after-sales issue if the printed products inside are intact and usable. Please check the inner packing and products before discarding packaging.
What should I do if the products are damaged during shipping?
Contact ZIVFY as soon as possible after delivery. Please keep the package and provide photos of the outer carton, shipping label, inner packing, damaged products, tracking number, delivery date and number of affected pieces.
Will ZIVFY remake or resend products if there is a problem?
If a confirmed production error is caused by ZIVFY and the delivered goods do not match the approved order specification, ZIVFY will review the case and discuss a reasonable solution. This may include correction, remake, partial remake, replacement or another agreed resolution depending on the issue.
Can custom printed products be returned?
Custom printed products are made to order. Casual returns, buyer’s remorse returns or returns because a confirmed specification is no longer needed are generally not available. Production-related issues are reviewed case by case.
