The Science of Satin Brilliance Unlike the opaque, mirror-like layer of Hot Foil Stamping, Metallic Inks contain suspended metallic pigments that integrate with the paper fibers. This creates a refined, industrial satin luster. Because it is a printing process rather than a physical heat-transfer, it offers unmatched precision for fine lines, delicate gradients, and small typography down to 0.25pt.
To achieve the true chromatic brilliance and metallic luster of our Red Gold, Cyan Gold, and Silver Inks, the base material color is a decisive factor.
For Maximum Brilliance (Flood Print): If your design requires extensive metallic coverage, we strictly recommend utilizing White-based Stocks, such as our 100% Cotton Stock, Premium Pearlescent Stock, or Smooth Matte Stock. A white canvas ensures the metallic pigments reflect light accurately without interference from the paper’s underlying color.
On Colored Stocks: While printing on dark or vibrant materials is possible, the paper’s natural pigment will interact with the ink, resulting in a “muted” or “dimmed” finish. For a high-contrast, reflective “pop” on dark papers, we strongly recommend opting for Hot Foil Stamping or 3D Metal Transfer Decals instead.
White Ink: Engineered for high opacity. This is the essential “spot color” for creating crisp, minimalist branding on Solid Black Stock or deep-colored materials.
Fluorescent Series (Red/Green): High-energy, radiant pigments that command immediate attention, perfect for bold, modern identity systems that need to vibrate with color.
Metallic Series (Red Gold, Cyan Gold, Silver): The premier choice for intricate patterns. These inks deliver a sophisticated metallic touch with the fluidity and precision of high-end offset printing.
